Heart Circle Zen offers a rare opportunity to deepen your practice and plunge into the Dharma with our virtual Fall Retreat (sesshin). Sesshin is an immersive meditation experience in the company of experienced Zen practitioners. If this is your first retreat, we will guide and support you through it. The daily schedule and Zoom links are sent to participants in advance.
Schedule-in-Brief
Morning: meditation, an outdoor walk, liturgy and chanting, work practice, interviews, body practice, and a daily Dharma talk.
Afternoon: a choice of meditation and interviews, the Practice of Immediacy (present moment awareness expressed in art media), or silent walks.
There are ample breaks throughout the day, and Council practice is held on Sunday and Thursday for sharing our retreat experiences.
Please note: Friday, October 29 and Friday, November 5 sessions are offered free of charge.
